Twigseeds greeting cards are printed in Australia using FSC Certified Stock, which means it is Forest Stewardship Council certified. The FSC certification provides the highest level of protection for rare and endangered forests and wildlife of any existing forest certification scheme. FSC is also the only forest certification system that requires consultation with local Indigenous Peoples to protect their rights.

Her studio, Twigseeds, has given flight to a world of colourful characters, including the charming and much loved aware hare, Ruby Red Shoes. The Twigseeds band of furry and feathery friends have grown a following of both children and grown-ups alike. They have appeared in books, magazines, art prints, greeting cards, stationery, plush toys and bed linen. Kate creates all her artwork by hand, using pencil, ink, watercolour ... and a bit of magic.

At their warehouse, they recycle everything that comes in. All their power comes from renewable energy sources. They print on recycled paper using vegetable-based inks, shred all paper for packaging and use environmentally sound packing beads. Solar panels power their office, and they recently added soft plastics to their recycling program. In 2018 they offset all unavoidable carbon emissions, and are now a carbon neutral business.
