My grandmother, Didu, had a collection of lovely brooches and i wonder why we gave up on using this marvelous equipment! We dont need to fuss with the pallu of our sari if we have a brooch.

I found that in Italy, my octogenarian jeweller, Mrs. Piccini still wears a decorative (very expensive) brooch on her dress everyday!
